Mentor offers a novel flow for MEMS design, coupling the best-in-class Tanner L-Edit MEMS platform with partners SoftMEMS and OnScale to provide MEMS designers a truly unique method to parametrically design and simulate MEMS devices. MEMS designers can now parametrically design the 2D layout and fabrication steps, and automatically create models for each variant suitable for FEM simulations. OnScale's flexible, cloud based platform can take in all of the variants and perform a variety of simultaneous simulations.
